<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing unit for a wheel hub for an automobile provided with a system for supplying pressurized air to a tire and capable of simply constituting a race part passage for letting pressurized air flow into a rotary part smoothly without affecting precision adversely. <P>SOLUTION: This bearing unit has a fixed outer race 1 provided with a first passage 6 and two inner half races 2a, 2b rotating together with a hub of a wheel and integrated in the axial direction. A second passage 7 is provided between the inner half races 2a and 2b. A chamber 8 having space parts 13 communicating with the first and second passages, respectively, is provided among the outer race and the inner half races.
