PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing particulate aluminosilicate by which aluminosilicate of a small particle size can be obtained while cation exchangeability is maintained and a liquid detergent having the particulate aluminosilicate obtained by the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the particulate aluminosilicate of performing dry comminution of aluminosilicate in the presence of a liquid or slurry not containing an alkaline earth metal compound, and the liquid detergent containing the particulate aluminosilicate obtained by the manufacturing method and a surfactant are provided.
