PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall preventing structure of a water supply tank placed in a fitting recessed part of a humidifier body. SOLUTION: A humidifier is composed of the humidifier body 1 with heating equipment such as a heater built therein, and the water supply tank 2 detachably mounted to the humidifier body. The water supply tank 2 is provided with a handle 3 at the center on the bottom face side, and a water supply port 5 opened/closed through a cap 4 provided with a valve mechanism, formed at a bottom face side part. The water supply tank 2 is formed in hollow box shape with outer enclosure members 2a, 2b of recessed cross section formed of a transparent resin material, and a bottom face member 2c provided with the handle 3 and the water supply port 5. A mirror partition plate 21 with the front and rear faces formed in mirror-finished surfaces is vertically disposed at the center inner part in the thickness direction of the outer enclosure members 2a, 2b of hollow box shape to partition a plurality of tank chambers that can communicate the inside of the outer enclosure members through the mirror partition plate.
