<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser therapeutic apparatus in which operability is improved for taking around an accessory such as a handpiece. <P>SOLUTION: The laser therapeutic apparatus that irradiates the skin with a laser beam from a therapeutic laser beam source is provided with: a main body of the apparatus provided with the therapeutic laser beam source; a handpiece including an optical irradiation system for irradiating a prescribed position with the laser beam; a multi-joint arm which is rotatably connected to the main body of the apparatus and has at least two rigid tubes linked by a joint in a drivable manner and guides the laser beam from the laser beam source to the handpiece by reflecting a mirror built in the joint; a detection means for detecting the moment of a portion that is connected to the main body, of the multi-joint arm caused by its dead weight; a moment adding means for adding a moment to the multi-joint arm reversely to the moment caused by the dead weight; and a moment control means for controlling the addition power of the moment adding means based on the moment detected by the detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
