PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility of a pointer even if the pointer moves around a transparent part. SOLUTION: This pointer meter is provided with a pointer plate 5 having a first transparent part 51 and an index part 52 formed around the first transparent part 51, a rotator 7 having a second transparent part 71 corresponding to the first transparent part 51, the pointer 6 fixed to the rotator 7 and moving along the index part 52 around the transparent part 51, a driving device 8 rotationally driving the rotator 7 for moving the pointer 6, and a display device 2 arranged on the back side of the index plate 5 for displaying predetermined information to an observer through the first and second transparent parts 51 and 71.
