FIELD: shipbuilding; marine propellers for outboard and stationary motors of smaller ships. SUBSTANCE: proposed controllable-pitch propeller has adjustable blades with guides on their shanks which are secured in hub movably fitted in bush of output shaft; said hub is engageable with bush by means of splined joint. Bush is provided with slots receiving guides of adjustable blades, return spring limiting motion of hub on shaft bush and consequently amount of turn of blades and adjusting nut for preliminary compression of return spring. EFFECT: reduced consumption of fuel; improved running characteristics of ship. 2 dwg |
