PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce EMI in data transfer between a display controller and a memory, which is caused by definition enhancement in a display system. SOLUTION: In the display system having a 32-bit width memory, a polarity signal is assigned to remainder 8 bits generated by storage of respective 8-bit image data of R, G, and B and is transferred. Thus it is unnecessary to increase simultaneously changing data lines between a controller CTL and a memory M, so that EMI is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
