PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic flash apparatus which can respond to both regular photography and close-range photography. SOLUTION: The electronic flash apparatus has a plurality of light-emitting parts, a plurality of optical transmission members which receive a radiation light of at least one light-emitting part on one end side and transmit the light received to the other end side and a plurality of optical output parts, arranged on the other end of the plurality of optical transmission members, respectively. Thus, the plurality of light-emitting parts are left in the body of the electronic flash apparatus, and the optical transmission members and the optical output parts are separated from the body. Consequently, in the case of the close-range photography, the optical output part are attached to a photographic lens and the radiation light of the light-emitting parts may be emitted from the optical output parts via the optical transmission member. In the case of the regular photography, the radiation light of the light-emitting parts may be directly irradiated on an object, without using the optical transmission members and the optical output parts. Consequently, the electronic flash apparatus responds to both of the regular photography and the close-range photography. Furthermore, since the optical output parts do not include light-emitting circuits, there is no risk of the tip of the photographic lens becoming heavy or of malfunctions occurring in the close-range photography.
