摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a humidity controlling material capable of being recycled and a humidity controlling ceramic construction material having a strength and abrasion resistance used as a flooring material. SOLUTION: This material is produced by using a natural mineral comprising an opaline silica and a smectite having humidity controllability, self-hardenability and low temperature sinterability as main minerals as a raw material. The material is a coating material obtained by mixing the natural mineral having the humidity controllability and self-hardenability with an aggregate, a fibrous material, a deflocculant, etc., and subjected to construction by kneading with water at the site and is easy to be recycled because of being solidified without using a specific hardening agent or binder. The material is also produced by molding the single or mixed powder of the natural mineral having the humidity controllability and self-hardenability to an optional shape by a normal molding method for an architectural ceramics and then burning.
