PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing wire rod fixing material suitable as a plane coil. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing wire rod fixing material C comprises a process for wiring a wire rod 2 to the surface of the adhesive layer of a thin leaf body (1)1 having an adhesive layer 1b; a process for arranging the surface of the adhesive layer of a thin leaf body (2)3 having an adhesive layer 3b constituted of materials whose adhesive property is changed according to reaction on the wire rod 2, and then for adhering the wire rod 2 to the adhesive layer 3b by advancing the reaction of the materials; and a process for removing the thin leaf body (1)1, and for transferring the wire rod 2 to the direction of the adhesive layer 3b.
