PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple sliding type door device capable of smoothly and interlockingly moving a plurality of door bodies moved to open/close in the same direction. SOLUTION: This multiple sliding type door device opens/closes an opening by moving the first and second door bodies 1, 2 adjacently arranged shifted in the thickness direction of the door bodies, in the same direction and closes the opening by advancing the second door body onto the closing side from the first door body 1. The first and second door bodies 1, 2 are connected by an interlocking mechanism 40. The interlocking mechanism 40 comprises two rotation bodies 41, 42 arranged at the first door body 1, and a string-like member 43 wound around the rotation bodies, connected to a fixed transom 5 and connected to the second door body 2 on the opposite side to a connection part to the transom 5 with the rotation bodies 41, 42 placed in between. The interlocking mechanism is constituted to interlockingly move the door body 1 at high speed and the door body 2 at low speed when one of the door bodies 1, 2 moves. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
