PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for efficiently removing clogging of a rotary tube mesh in a trommel type sorting machine for sorting and sieving earth and sand, compost or the like of comparatively fine particle. SOLUTION: The clogging is removed by wind pressure by jetting compressed air to a material clogged in the rotary tube mesh from the outside of the tube mesh toward the inside thereof. Further a method for removing the clogging of the rotary tube mesh by the wind pressure while moving a compressed air port along a sorting rotary tube, is also proposed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
