<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus prevented from including air between sheets when an object matter is air-tightly packaged and scarcely breaking the sheets. <P>SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus A for air-tightly packaging the object by sandwiching it between two sheets S1, S2 pulled out from a pair of sheet rolls R1, R2 comprises a sheet roll holding section 10 for holding in parallel the pair of sheet rolls R1, R2 at a given interval and a pair of pressing rollers 20, 30 disposed so as to pinch the two sheets S1, S2 pulled out and conveyed from the pair of sheet rolls R1, R2 and pressing the two sheets S1, S2 to each other.
