PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with a broadcast service by an open cable standard and by a digital wired broadcast data standard for making a domestic digital wired broadcast become a normal service through one equipment and to provide the user with an open cable broadcast service without buying another TV equipment by existing analog TV equipment and digital TV equipment user. SOLUTION: A broadcast signal processing apparatus includes a receiving portion 11 for receiving a broadcast signal supplied from a broadcast service provider, a signal distributing portion 13 for distributing and supply the broadcast signal received via the receiving portion 11 by a processing system, a gain control portion 18 for controlling gain by the processing system of the broadcast signal supplied from the signal distributing portion 13, an analog processing portion 17 for demodulating the broadcast signal whose gain is controlled by an analog processing system at the gain control portion 18 by tuning, and a digital processing portion 16 for tuning the broadcast signal, whose gain is controlled by a digital processing system at the gain controlling portion 18.
