The drinking bottle (1) has clip element (3) loosely pivotable around the vertical primary axis (FH) of the bottle and fitted on the bottle top (1.3). A bottle opener is captively attached to the clip element. The clip element has a primary axis (BH) which in the vertical alignment of the clip element and the bottle coincides with the primary axis of the bottle. The clip element has a U-shaped section which comprises two fourth sections and two curved sections connecting the fourth sections.
