PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thawing method thawing a frozen product from the inside in a short time without making unevenness. SOLUTION: This thawing method for thawing the frozen product by high-frequency heating comprises a first high-frequency heating process of heating by high-frequency the frozen product to the vicinity of a melting temperature, a temperature detecting process of measuring the temperature of the frozen product in the first high-frequency heating process and detecting that the measured temperature reaches the melting temperature, a steam supplying process of starting steam supply after detecting the melting temperature in the temperature detecting process and forming a dew condensation film on the surface of the frozen product, and a second high-frequency heating process of heating by high-frequency the frozen product after starting the steam supply process.
