<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source control circuit and a controller for easily conducting controller-side power source control without transmitting any complicated control signal showing the status of a device to be controlled from the controlled device side to the controller side even under a WOL (Wake on LAN) function-using environment. <P>SOLUTION: After a controller power source is turned on by a WOL, a display power source is turned on by a remote controller, and an inverter 3 inverts an input signal H to an L level and outputs it to an OR gate 5. Since POW is applied to a power supply voltage input terminal 14, a signal H is inputted to the other input terminal of the OR gate 5. The OR gate 5 outputs the signal H to an AND gate. The AND gate 6 receives signals from the OR gate 5 and an inverter 7, and outputs a signal to a chip set 11. Since a button ON control signal (signal L) is not inputted to the chip set 11, the chip set 11 does not perform controller shut-down processing although the display power source is turned on and image display is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
