REVERSE SHIFT MECHANISM OF MANUAL TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse shift mechanism of a manual transmission, improved in change efficiency in reverse shifting. SOLUTION: This reverse shift mechanism of the manual transmission includes: a shift select shaft rotated by the select operation of a shifting operation member and provided to move in the axial direction by the shift operation; a reverse fork shaft rotatably provided and extended parallel to the direction orthogonal to the shift select shaft; and a reverse fork fixed to one end of the reverse fork shaft. The reverse shift mechanism further includes: a reverse fork operating member fixed to the other end of the reverse fork shaft; and a reverse piece fixed to the shift select shaft and engaged with the reverse fork operating member to rotate the member and establish the backward stage when the shifting operation member is shifted to the backward position in the backward select position.
