PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic photoreceptor hardly losing its high sensitivity and ensuring superior stability even after repeated use by using a combination of specified two polysiloxanes. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic photoreceptor has a single photosensitive layer 15 contg. an electric charge generating material and an electric charge transferring material as essential components on the electrically conductive substrate 11. The outermost layer 15 of the photoreceptor contains a mixture of carboxy modified polysiloxane with another modified polysiloxane selected from among carbinol modified polysiloxane, methacrylic modified polysiloxane and mercapto modified polysiloxane. The another modified polysiloxane is, e.g. phenol modified polysiloxane, polyether modified polysiloxane, alkyl modified polysiloxane, fatty acid ester modified polysiloxane, vinyl modified polysiloxane, alkoxy modified polysiloxane, polysiloxane modified with different functional groups or fluorine modified polysiloxane. |
