PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive composition which has sufficient adhesiveness under a temperature condition of about 140°C as well as at the ordinary temperature, when disposed on the surface of a prescribed substrate, but lowers or eliminates the adhesiveness, when heated at≥160°C. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition comprises thermally expansible fine spheres comprising elastic shells and a substance evaporable at≥180°C in the shells, an adhesive, a tackifier, and a crosslinking agent, and has an elastic modulus of 5.0×10<SP>4</SP>to 1.0×10<SP>6</SP>Pa at 140°C.
