PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb a volume change of a liquid while suppressing reduction of heat transporting capacity in a counter oscillation flow type heat transport device. SOLUTION: In this counter oscillation flow type heat transport device 1, a flow passage 3 and a buffer tank 6 are communicated through a throttle such as a capillary tube 5. Thereby, because passage resistance (flow passage resistance) of a passage connecting the flow passage 3 and the buffer tank 6 is not excessively reduced, the liquid inside a heat transport device body 2 (the flow passage 3) does not liquid(pressure)-oscillate inside the heat transport device body 2, and it can be suppressed that the liquid comes and goes between the heat transport device body 2 and the buffer tank 6. Accordingly, it can be prevented that an amplitude of the liquid inside the heat transport device body 2 is reduced, and it can be prevented that the heat transporting capacity of the counter oscillation flow type heat transport device 1 is reduced.
