PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording device which is not likely to bring about a record-unevenness between the belt-like recording areas in which recording is made adjoiningly and a color gap between the images of individual colors. SOLUTION: A recording medium 102 is put on across a guide roller 103 and the nip section of a feed roller 104 and a pinch roller 105, and fed continuously. A marker belt 112 is inlayed at the end section of the feed roller 104 and put on a tension roller 106. The marker belt 112 is endless-shaped and provided with a marker at a fixed spacing. A sensor 113 for reading the marker is arranged and the marker-reading signal of the sensor 113 is transferred to a control circuit 114. The control circuit 114 operates a sub-scan feeding-rate of the recording medium 102, and the sub-scan feed is controlled by sending the control signal to a sub-scan motor driver 120 from the result of the operation.
