PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump performance testing method for performing verification test for the temperature rise of a bearing effectively in a short time. SOLUTION: Before actual load operation of a pump, the temperature of the bearing is increased to a set temperature. In such a state, the actual load operation of the pump is performed. It is verified that the temperature of the bearing is gradually lowered which is not higher than the maximum allowable temperature or such a temperature that allowable temperature rise are added to ambient temperature.
