Process for the preparation of organyloxysilylterminated polymers

Bismuth and zinc compounds are used as catalysts in a method for the production of organyloxysilyl-terminated polymers by reacting polymeric diols with isocyanato-functional organyloxysilanes. A method for the production of organyloxysilyl-terminated polymers of formula (I) involves reacting alpha ,omega -dihydroxy-terminated organic polymers of formula (II) with isocyanato-functional silanes of formula (III) in presence of catalyst(s) selected from bismuth and zinc compounds.
