PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric injection unit which can shorten an overall length in the axial direction as the advancing/receding direction of a plunger, and which can reduce dimensions in the direction perpendicular to the axis. SOLUTION: A hollow shaft 44, which is equipped with a hollow part 48 for inserting a ball screw shank 40 into a ball nut 42 to be screwed to the shank 40, is axially and continuously provided in the state of turning integrally with the ball nut 42, so as to be rotatably supported on an outer peripheral side via a bearing 50 by a stationary platen 24. The hollow shaft 44 is connected to an electric motor 54 in an operating manner, and the ball nut 42 is rotatively driven by the electric motor 54, so that a movable platen 30, wherein the plunger 32 is fixedly provided, can advance/recede.
