PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic pump allowing its use as a metering pump by adjusting amount of discharge when compared with frequency of a pulse current to be applied. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic pump for metering is constituted in such a way that it is provided with an electromagnetic coil to which pulse current is applied, a plunger reciprocated by the electromagnetic coil, and a suction valve and a discharge valve for performing pump action with the plunger, it has a stopper which is pressed by an elastically mounted spring and on which the plunger is abutted on one side of the plunger, and a magnetic pole attracting the plunger is provided on a spring side of the plunger. Pulse width of pulse current applied on the electromagnetic coil of the electromagnetic pump for metering is increased when compared with increase of frequency of the pulse current.
