PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interference of a guide with a take-over transporting apparatus and lowering of take-over performances and to extend an open space in relation to a transported grain culm leading guide for leading grain culms to especially an apparatus for transporting the grain culms of a combine harvester. SOLUTION: This combine harvester is composed as follows. A grain culm feeding and transporting apparatus 15 designed to feed the grain culms to a threshing apparatus 3 is composed by installing a feeding and transporting chain 17 under a freely vertically moving nipping and pressing rod 16. The feeding and transporting chain 17 is stretched around a driven wheel body 21 on the front side and a driven wheel body 22 on the rear side respectively installed in the front and the rear of a chain leading rail 20 in the front and rear directions. Furthermore, the chain leading rail 20 is mounted on a rail supporting frame 23 in which a tilted shaft part 24 tilted in a state of lowered back is freely rotatably mounted on a supporting member 25a, and the transported grain culm leading guide 28 for leading the transportation of the grain culms between the terminal end of the take-over and transportation apparatus 26 of a reaping pretreatment apparatus 4 and the starting end of the grain culm feeding and transporting apparatus 15 is mounted in the tilted shaft part 24 or a mounting part 25b for mounting the tilted shaft part 24 on the supporting member 25a. The transported grain culm leading guide 28 is composed as follows. A guiding part 30 which is tilted so as to approach the starting end of the grain culm feeding and transporting apparatus 15 toward the upper side and the tip when viewed from the side is installed connectedly to the tip side of a transverse rod part 29 in the nearly horizontal direction mounted in the mounting part 25b.
