COLOR FILTER SUBSTRATE, LAYERED BODY OF COLOR FILTER SUBSTRATES, AND METHOD OF USING THE COLOR FILTER SUBSTRATE

A layered body of color filter substrates, where the color filter substrates used for liquid crystal display devices etc. are protected from flaws and damage, and which is advantageous for storage and transportation. A removable protective layer constituted of an adhesive film and a coating layer is provided on the surface on the colored layer side of a color filter substrate whose basic structures such as black matrices, colored layers, a transparent electrode, and spacers are formed on the surface of a glass substrate. Color filter substrates, on the colored layer side of each of which the protective layer is provided, are layered over each other while being prevented from coming into contact with each other with separation bodies such as paper and resin film in between.
