PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipath noise detector capable of detecting multipath interference more exactly than that in the conventional manner regarding the multipath noise detector which detects generation of the multipath interference from a received signal. SOLUTION: Pieces of data such as a self vehicle position b, a position a of a broadcasting station, a position c of a building and height are inputted from a navigation system and propriety of generation of the multipath interference is judged based on them. For example, whenα,βare constants and a condition ofα<(distance a)/(distance b)<βis satisfied, the multipath interference is detected and judged. Since the propriety of detection in a multipath noise detection circuit is judged based on information from the navigation system, multipath noise is exactly detected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
