<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reader/writer of an RFID system capable of communicating data to a tag irrelevantly to the position relation to the tag and a structure of antenna for the reader/writer. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna 3a for the reader/writer which is formed on a circuit board 4a put in a reader/writer main body 4 comprises a 1st antenna 3a formed on a surface of the circuit board 4a and a 2nd antenna 3b composed of an antenna formed in three dimensions by using conductor patterns 11a and 11b on the top and reverse surfaces of the circuit board 4a and a through hole 11c penetrating the circuit board 4a, a spiral antenna installed on the 1st antenna 3a while parting a loop, an antenna formed by flexing a flexible substrate on the circuit board 4a, an antenna formed in three dimensions by floating a mounted component with lead wires, etc. Consequently, antenna axes are set to a plurality of directions to enable communication irrelevantly to the position relation with the tag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
