<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of storing an operation program or the like at high compressibility by use of an existing compression/extension circuit for image data, and restoring and using it. <P>SOLUTION: Compression data obtained by compressing encoded data obtained by encoding original data on the executable operation program or the like by a block sorting method, by the same reversible compression method as the existing compression/extension circuit 17, are previously stored in a flash memory 11. When power is applied, a control means 21 extends the compression data stored in the flash memory 11 by the compression/extension circuit 17 after an initial process to restore them to the encoded data, applies a restoration process by the block sorting method to the encoded data to restore them to the original data, and stores the original data into a RAM 12 to allow use of them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
