<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently conduct confirmation work of high reliability about a connection condition of a bus line for connecting a plurality of devices. <P>SOLUTION: A bus line connection confirmation program is executed through a JTAG, using this connection inspection device 1 for the bus line 6 for connecting the device 5 such as a memory to the device 4 such as a CPU. When checking the connection condition for an address bus, a plurality of addresses is assigned in order to write data different in every address, to the device 5, the data of the first assigned address is read out thereafter, and it is checked whether the actually read-out data is different from the data assigned when writing the data to the first assigned address.
