PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a divided connector capable of realizing the improvement of the workability of the fitting of connectors to each other. SOLUTION: As the sum of the thickness of a front stopped sub-connector side front wall 33 of a female terminal fitting 31 at the sub-connector 30 side and that of a front stopped front face wall 13 of the sub-connector 30 becomes larger than the thickness of a front stopped main body side front wall 17 of the female terminal fitting 15 at a housing main body 11 side, the mounting position of the female terminal fitting 31 at the sub-connector 30 side is shifted toward backside of the mounting position of the female terminal fitting 15 at the housing main body 11 side by the difference of the above thickness, a deviation is caused between the peak of insertion resistance generated between the female terminal fitting 15 and a tub part 53A of mate side, and the same generated between the female terminal fitting 31 and a tub part 53A of mate side. By the above, the peak value of the fitting operation force of a female connector 10 and a male connector 50 are reduced, and the workability of the fitting can be improved.
