PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely measure the amount and direction of various forces and moments of a shaft to be measured according to request, mounting/dismounting the shaft to be measured without disassembling/reassembling the columnar outer shape shaft and its surrounding part. SOLUTION: A first sensor member 1 and a second sensor member 2 are divided into two by a plane passing through the central axis and a diameter, and upper and lower end parts of each sensor member are made thick semi-annular part, and the internal diameter of the middle part between them is made larger, and straining parts 2c, 2d are provided. On both the sides of the straining parts 2c, 2d through holes 2m are bored while forming a connected part 2e. For each of straining parts 2c, 2d blind holes with a specific depth 2f, 2g are bored from out side, on the bottoms of the blind holes, strain gauges are attached. The first sensor member 1 and the second sensor member 2 are fixed with 4 fixing bolts 3, thereby to be fixed to the shaft S1 to be measured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
