<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a roller and a roller forming die used in the same, capable of forming a homogeneous foamed elastic body by a very simple manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: This roller manufacturing method comprises a process for mounting a core bar on a mechanism of a die member comprising the mechanism capable of fixing the core bar and a dowel having at least one through hole, at least on its one end part, a process for injecting a foamed elastic body forming material into a container capable of being connected to an end part of the die member at a side having the dowel, a process for fitting and connecting the die member and the container, and a process for foaming and curing the foamed elastic body forming material.
