<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preventing method of a break of paper or the like at a power failure in a shaftless rotary press of a simple constitution, which holds down the fluctuation of the tension of running paper to such an amount as not to cause the break of the running paper and thus can prevent effectively the break of the paper, rolling-in thereof, etc. <P>SOLUTION: This method has a step of detecting the power failure of a commercial power supply, a step of supplying power from a backup power supply for control to a control device controlling the driving of a driving roller, simultaneously with detection of the power failure, a step of making stop braking act on a web in a feeding part simultaneously with the detection of the power failure, a step of cutting off a control system of driving rollers other than the driving roller of a printing part from the control system of the control device simultaneously with the detection of the power failure, a step of stopping the driving roller of the printing part earlier than the other driving rollers, while conducting a deceleration control of the driving roller of the printing part, on the basis of an instruction from the control device, by utilizing a regenerative power of a motor which rotates the driving roller of the printing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
