<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher to the body of which high-temperature water can be supplied and by which energy efficiency can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to the dishwasher, the top of a hot water storage tank 3 having a heat pump type heating source is connected to the dishwasher body 4 through a hot water supply path 15. A bypass route 19 which is branched from the hot water supply path 15 and communicates with the bottom of the hot water storage tank 3 is provided. A switching means 16 for switching the flow path is interposed at the branching section of the bypass route 19. A pump 20 is interposed at the bypass route 19. When a rinsing start signal comes from the dishwasher body 4, the dishwasher makes a bypass operation control means 21 perform bypass operations for a predetermined time for making the hot water in the hot water supply path 15 return to the bottom of the hot water storage tank 3 through the bypass route 19.
