<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for detecting Alzheimer's disease in a protein molecule level. <P>SOLUTION: This method for detecting the Alzheimer's disease in the protein molecule level comprises determining one or more specific proteins, such as isocitric acid dehydrogenase 3 (NAD+) alpha precursor, guanine deaminase, and SH3BGRL, in a central nerve tissue or body fluid by the proteome analysis of a nerve tissue originating from an Alzheimer's disease patient, while using the specific increase or reduction of the proteins as an index. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
