The compressor has a rotor, a diffuser, and an adjusting ring for guide blades. The ring has adjusting elements, to charge the guide blades in direction of rotation at a distance to the guide blade shaft. The blades are forked on the side away from the shaft, with two fork ends enclosing an open retainer, to accommodate the adjusting element. The adjustable diffuser body (13) is fastened directly to the rear wall (14) of the compressor housing.
