A threaded core holder(2) screws into a threaded core nut(4) with a leading thread(13) whose pitch is similar to that of an internal thread to be produced in the molding. The nut is clamped between a drive plate(5) and a baseplate(3). A spindle(14) of the threaded core holder has at least one driving face which guides the spindle in a driver(16) of a driving wheel(6). The driving wheel is radially mounted in the drive plate. A motor(10) fixed to the drive plate has a pinion engaging with the driving wheel. The threaded core holder(2) and/or the driver wheel(6) has an attachment point(15) for a tool which frees the threaded core holder from a stop if an end stop switch(8,9) for the screwing action of the threaded core holder fails to function correctly.
