The structure has parallelepipedal panels (1-3), each assembled with the adjacent panel on respective lateral edges (11, 12, 21, 22, 31, 32). Each lateral edge is in contact with the lateral edge of the adjacent panel, and has at least two hooks. Each hook of one edge cooperates with the respective hook of the adjacent edge to form housings through which connection rods (4, 5) are placed, where the rods are in contact with the hooks and the edges. An independent claim is also included for furniture constituted of a modular structure.
