PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device which suppresses drastic increase of a winding diameter of an opening/closing body. SOLUTION: The opening/closing device 1 is provided with a rotatable winding drum 4 having an almost cylindrical peripheral surface. The winding drum 4 has a screen body 7 mounted thereon, for moving along an opening section 2 according to rotation of the winding drum 4 to open/close the opening section 2. The screen body 7 has a plurality of long elastic reinforcing sheets 11 attached thereto, in a manner extending in a lateral direction and being arranged at vertical intervals. Thus when the screen body 7 is wound by the winding drum 4, the elastic reinforcing sheets 11 are elastically deformed along the peripheral surface of the winding drum 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
