PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding screen in which folding operation and pull-out operation are smoothly performed. SOLUTION: A hanger rail 2 is provided with a storage part 2c and a moving part 2d. Carriers 15a-15d are respectively suspended to the hanger rail 2 by runners 3-10 fitted into positions close to both end parts. A pressing protrusion part 17 and a pressing member 19 are fitted to each of the carriers 15a-15d, and the pressing protrusion part 17 is pressed by the pressing member 19 from the direction A side to allow the folding operation of each of the carriers 15a-15d. The respective carriers 15a-15d are connected by connecting members 20 between the respective adjacent carriers.
