PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination type game machine capable of preventing illegal actions and enriching a game. SOLUTION: When a game start button is pressed, a prescribed number of balls (15 pieces for instance) are fetched which are enclosed game balls. A game ball fetching device 62 is provided with: a game ball fetching path 63 for fetching the game balls fed from an upper tray 60 into a game machine main body 13; a shutter 64 provided in the middle of the game ball fetching path 63; and a passing sensor 65 for detecting the passing of the game balls. The game ball fetching device 62 opens the shutter 64 by responding to the operation of a fetching operation button 66, fetches the prescribed number (15 or 16) of game balls from the upper tray 60 into the game machine, discharges them through a discharge port 69a and a discharge path 69b to a game island 19 so as not to be used by a player and makes the game balls flow back from the game island 19 to a prize ball put-out device 67 or a lending ball put-out device 68.
