PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick and simple separation analysis method by using one separation column and one kind of eluate, concerning separation analysis of a trace quantity of anions and/or cations below 10 ppm coexisting in aqueous solution containing a high concentration of one or two or more substances selected from among a group comprising weak acids having an acid dissociation constant of 2 or more, sugars, alcohols and amino acids. SOLUTION: Concerning measurement of anions and/or cations in the aqueous solution containing one or two or more substances selected from among the group comprising weak acids having the acid dissociation constant of 2 or more, sugars, alcohols and amino acids, this separation analysis method of ions in a high-concentration sample is characterized by using a weakly acidic cation-exchange separation column and the eluate of a weak acid by ion chromatography.
