PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an invasion detection system and method, and a recording medium with which a network for monitoring illegal communication from an external network does not suffer secondary damage. SOLUTION: The invasion detection system includes a high-order invasion detection apparatus provided between an external network and a high-order network and a plurality of low-order invasion detection apparatuses provided between the high-order network and a low-order network, each of the low-order invasion detection apparatuses being configured to inform the high-order invasion detection apparatus of data obtained when the trouble is caused and a signature that is used when an attack is detected, when the trouble is caused by a fault or the attack in the low-order invasion detection apparatus. The high-order invasion detection apparatus being configured to notify the low-order invasion detection apparatuses, except for the predetermined low-order invasion detection apparatus, of the data obtained under when the trouble is caused and the signature that is used when the attack is detected, when the trouble is caused in the predetermined low-order invasion detection apparatus.
