PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element of high luminous efficiency and a long life by restraining phase solution in manufacturing one equipped with a structure with a plurality of organic function layers laminated to improve functional separation among the organic functional layers. SOLUTION: The organic EL element 10 is formed with a laminated film including a positive electrode (a first electrode layer) 4, an organic EL layer (an organic functional layer) 3, and a negative electrode (a second electrode layer) 7, and so structured that a phase solution preventing layer 181 is provided between a hole injection/transport layer 5 and a luminous layer 8 of the organic EL layer 3.
