PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which clearly manages the operational status of taxies, improves services to customers and is useful in keeping drivers safe. SOLUTION: By using a GPS-AVM system, an operation manager of a taxi company can grasp the position of a taxi by means of the GPS and monitor the running status of the taxi based on information on an estimated taxi's arrival time at a destination, information on a required time to the destination by taxi, and position information to be received at a prescribed interval.
