PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing which is applied to a part requiring high rotation accuracy at high load and can sufficiently respond to the requirement, can effectively suppress transmission of the vibration in radial and axial directions, and can suppress occurrence of self-excited vibration in a rolling element or a retainer. SOLUTION: A raceway ring 1 on a fixed side comprises a raceway surface forming member 11 made of alloy for bearing, and damping members 12a and 12b made of damping alloy contacted and fixed to the peripheral surface of the raceway surface forming member 11 on the opposite side to the raceway surface 110. At least one of collars 120a and 120b formed in this raceway ring 1 is formed integrally with the damping members 12a and 12b. When the bearing is incorporated into a fixing member such as a housing, the damping members are disposed in both radial and axial directions. The collars 120a and 120b formed in the damping members 12a and 12b contact with a roller 2 or the retainer 3, thereby also suppressing the occurrence of the self-excited vibration.
