PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning rod grip which improves an attachment strength or stiffness and has an excellent design effect, and to provide a spinning rod. SOLUTION: This spinning rod grip is characterized by having a frame member 7 for fitting a spinning rod 1 to a reel sheet portion 5, connecting the frame member 7 to a metal hood 13 on which a load acts on the attachment of a reel, through a hood adjuster 14, extending the hood adjuster 14 in the axial direction of the frame member 7 on the basis of the metal hood 13, and fitting the hood adjuster 14 including the extended portion 7a to the frame member 7. The spinning rod grip is characterized by preferably furthermore projecting the end of the metal hood 13 in the axial direction of the frame member 7 and fitting the metal hood 13 including the projected portion 13a to the frame member 7.
